Sauna
Our saunarium is a zone of four saunas. The Finnish, BIO, Infrared and Steam saunas are available to guests from 3:00 p.m. on weekdays and from 8:00 a.m. on weekends and holidays. The zone is complemented by a barrel with cold water to cool the body after sessions and an ice machine.
Finnish sauna - a traditional wooden sauna with an air temperature of 85°C to 100°C, with low air humidity. Its beneficial effects include, among others, training the circulatory and respiratory systems, removing toxins from the body, cleansing the skin, accelerating metabolism, supporting weight loss and strengthening the body's immunity. A sauna treatment should include 3 cycles of alternating heating and cooling of the body. Each cycle should last 10-15 minutes. After the procedure, you should rest for about 30 minutes and replenish fluids. To maintain good general fitness of the body, one treatment a week is enough, but for justified reasons it can be used two or three times a week.
Steam sauna - a traditional steam bath with aromatherapy, where the temperature ranges from 45°C to 50°C with air humidity up to 100%. Bathing in a steam bath has a particularly beneficial effect on the respiratory tract. The moist heat of a steam bath has a positive effect on the appearance of the skin, improves blood circulation, cleanses the body of toxins and relaxes tired muscles. A sauna treatment should include 3 cycles of alternating heating and cooling of the body. Each cycle should last 10-15 minutes. After the procedure, you should rest for about 20-30 minutes and replenish fluids. It is recommended to use the bath once a week, but for justified reasons it can be used two or three times a week.
Biosauna - a more delicate version of the Finnish sauna with an element of aromatherapy. The temperature in the biosauna ranges from 45° to 70°C with variable air humidity. It is intended for people who, due to their health condition, cannot use a traditional sauna, it is less burdensome for the body and protects the circulatory system. Just like a Finnish sauna, it affects the regulation and training of the circulatory and respiratory systems, strengthens the body's immunity, removes toxins, cleanses the skin, accelerates metabolism, and supports the weight loss process. Recommendations for using a biosauna are the same as for a Finnish sauna. The session should include 3 cycles of alternating heating and cooling of the body. Each cycle should last 10-15 minutes. After the procedure, you should rest for about 20-30 minutes and replenish fluids. It is recommended to use the biosauna once a week, and for justified reasons it can be used two or three times a week.
Infrared sauna – is based on innovative technology that uses infrared heaters instead of a traditional stove. During the session, the body is exposed to electromagnetic infrared radiation of the appropriate wavelength, without harmful UV radiation. Infrared may cause a higher level of sweating compared to a traditional hot sauna using a lower air temperature, which ranges from 25°C to 75°C. Lower temperature ranges guarantee greater safety for people concerned about risks related to the circulatory and respiratory systems. The heat generated by the sauna penetrates the body to a depth of 3 - 5 cm, causing the excretion of harmful toxins, accelerates fat burning, stimulates metabolism, improves blood circulation, has a beneficial effect on the appearance of the skin, which becomes firmer, and improves overall physical fitness. Recommended session time is 20 to 30 minutes, can be used every day. After the procedure, you should rest for about 20-30 minutes and replenish fluids.
Sauna Rules
Saunas are a unique place and they have rules that every visitor should follow.
This is a relaxation zone, stay quiet there.
Before entering the sauna, take a lukewarm shower and wipe your body dry
Before entering the sauna, undress your swimsuit, swimming trunks or shorts, remove your flip-flops, jewelry and watch.
Enter the Finnish, infrared and biosauna wrapped in a towel or pareo, sit on the second towel so that your body does not come into contact with the wooden benches (including your feet). Enter the steam sauna naked, rinsing the seating area before and after the session.
During the session, relax and do not talk. If you want to pour water on the heater in the Finnish sauna, ask your sauna companions for permission.
After the session, which should last about 15 minutes, first take a naked lukewarm shower and thoroughly wash the sweat from your skin, and only then use the cooling barrel.
After the session, you need to rest, and let it last at least as long as the session lasted.
Advantages of using a sauna:
Cleansing the body of toxins, stimulating circulation, improving metabolism, regenerating the nervous system, reducing pain by reducing muscle tension, reducing cellulite, improving the body's immunity, reducing stress and relaxation
Contraindications:
Fever and body infection, circulatory failure, epilepsy, cancer, skin infections, kidney failure, glaucoma
Why should we sauna without swimsuits?
During the heat bath in the sauna, the sweat glands begin to secrete sweat. Along with it, the body excretes many unwanted ingredients (toxins, urea and all kinds of impurities).
Swimsuits made of artificial materials retain ingredients in the open pores of our skin that the body wants to excrete, which, firstly, may cause burns in intimate areas and, secondly, combined with the high temperature in the sauna, it promotes the growth of bacteria directly on our skin. Additionally, toxins are absorbed into the swimsuit and spread to the jacuzzi, swimming pool or, for example, a deckchair.
OUR SAUNARIUM IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO ADULTS
